From QR code to travel: a 10% product reward for your business

A travel booking attributed to your shop can generate a reward in RUXE products. Here is how the programme works, with a worked example.

RUXE mussels, sardines and scallops cartons displayed on a wooden shelf in a shop window.

A customer discovers RUXE in your shop. They choose a tin, take it home and explore the QR code on its carton, where they find ideas for travelling to Galicia.

If that interest leads to a booking attributed to your business under the programme’s terms, part of its value comes back to you in RUXE products.

That is the idea connecting our collection with our trade partners.

From the carton to the experience

The QR code opens up travel ideas and experiences. Vimbio Galicia is the tour operator responsible for advising the traveller, handling bookings and payments, and organising the trip.

Your shop presents and sells RUXE. You can explain the connection to your customer, while travel enquiries and bookings are handled by Vimbio.

What the 10% means

The reward is equivalent to 10% of the net value, excluding VAT, of bookings attributed to your business. It is provided in RUXE products, in accordance with the programme’s commercial terms.

A worked example makes the calculation clear:

A shop stocks RUXE, and one of its customers subsequently makes a travel booking that is attributed to that shop. If the booking’s eligible net value is €1,000, the corresponding reward is €100 in RUXE products.

Rewards are settled quarterly, under the agreed terms.

The percentage is calculated on the attributed travel booking. It is not a 10% discount on tinned seafood orders and is not paid in cash.

Attribution links the booking to your business

Scanning a QR code or browsing a trip does not generate a reward on its own. There must be a booking that meets the programme’s terms and is correctly attributed.

When you start working with RUXE, it is therefore important to understand how your shop’s participation is identified and how rewards are communicated and settled. Our team provides trade partners with those details.

A connection that can continue after the purchase

For a shop, RUXE offers a story that begins with a product and can continue long afterwards: at the customer’s table, in their curiosity about Galicia and, potentially, on a trip.

The product reward is part of that proposition. Its value depends on bookings actually attributed to the business; the example above illustrates the calculation and is not an earnings forecast.
